WeatherMix® does not contain calcium chloride or any other intentionally added chloride-containing ingredients. This makes it an excellent choice for any concrete that comes in contact with steel surfaces. WeatherMix® will not initiate or promote corrosion of reinforcing steel embedded in concrete, galvanized steel floor and roof systems. Well above industry standards for durability due to freezing and thawing (freeze-thaw resistance). Superior for workability, pumpability, and placement. Accelerates concrete setting times. WeatherMix® can be placed with truck chute, basket, pump or conveyor. The placement of WeatherMix® should follow the regulations of CSA’s Concrete materials and methods of concrete construction (CAN/CSA-A23. 1-04), in particular section 7, “Placing, finishing, and curing concrete”.
